Conceived in 1989 by the visionary LGBTQ+ advocate Jeffrey Sanker, this year’s jubilant gathering marked yet another triumphant milestone in its illustrious history, drawing thousands of attendees from around the globe. While the chance of a downpour threatened to dampen the excitement, the clouds banked their might, and just like Barbra’s defiant anthem, the White Party Global refused to let anything rain on its parade.

This year’s event confirmed the its unrivaled status as not only a celebration of music and dance, but also unity and gay pride. It proved to be one of the finest instalments in recent memory, thanks to a welcomed reduction in pricing, which opened the doors to even greater participation, and the refreshing amount of accessibility and cohesion permeating the festivities.
