It was GAME ON! in Hollywood as the Concern Foundation rolled out the dice and the red carpet for its milestone 50th Annual Block Party, transforming the historic Paramount Studios backlot into the most spectacular game night the city has ever seen. The golden anniversary fête raised an astounding $2.5 million for groundbreaking cancer research, proving once again that when this community comes together, the odds tilt toward a cure.
Over 4,000 guests joined the “GAME ON! Together Let’s Beat Cancer” celebration, honoring philanthropists Lisi and Steve Teller and presenting a Special Lifetime Achievement Award to Alexandra M. Levine, MD, MACP, the esteemed Professor of Hematology and Chief Medical Officer Emerita at City of Hope.

Guests wandered a whimsical wonderland — a life-sized Candyland stage, retro bowling lanes, towering Jenga blocks, and colorful Chutes & Ladders sets — symbolizing the challenges and triumphs in the fight against cancer. It was also a Trivial Pursuit of culinary bliss, with over 90 top restaurants, wineries, breweries, and spirits purveyors, including Alexander’s Steakhouse, Nobu Malibu, Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Yamashiro, and Dulan’s on Crenshaw. Sweet indulgences came from Bertha Mae’s Brownie Co., Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, and My/Mochi, paired with espresso from Caffe Luxxe and Pasquini. Sips flowed from BUZZBAR®, GIN&JUICE by Dre and Snoop, Empress 1908 Gin, Milagro Tequila, Ballers Champagne, and Bido Wines, while craft beer fans enjoyed Common Space Brewery, Duvel, and La Chouffe.

As the sun set, the backlot came alive with electrifying performances by the Tom Nolan Band, D’ City Sound & Events, and the Jason Goldstein Sextet featuring Lilli Passero. Guests tried their luck at Pechanga Resort Casino tables, posed for glam shots, indulged in spa treatments courtesy of Fairmont Spa Century Plaza, and bid on luxury packages in a spirited live auction led by Kimlai Yingling. With Modern Luxury Angeleno celebrating its 25th anniversary alongside, the night sparkled with generosity, style, and purpose. This was more than a party — it was a movement. Every spin of the wheel, every bid, every toast brought the vision of a cancer-free future one step closer.
