The 7,800 square feet spa situated conveniently in an entertainment complex in Huntington Beach is a sprawling yet intimate retreat capable of accommodating the weary individual and even entire groups.  Thanks to the ingenious design of its treatment rooms with their retractable walls, up to three treatment rooms can be opened up all at once for friends who want to gossip and relax or couples who want to share their rejuvenation.

Once you’ve been led down sage colored walls adorned with butterflies symbolizing the metamorphosis awaiting you, you find the tastefully designed treatment rooms awash in mustard and wood.  All the equipment and treatment products are stored away in wood cabinets and special care has been taken to make the patron feel like they are ensconced not in a transient, sterile room but a nurturing, friend’s embrace.

The age-defying facials at the spa include a Regenerative Collagen Enhancement Facial aimed at intensive moisturizing for fatigued or mature skin by using lyophilized (freeze dried) polymerized (non-altered) collagen and biotechnological actives such as beta glucans, glycosaminoglycans and hyaluronic acid.  The G.M. Collins Botinol Facial is a Botox-like anti-aging treatment with instant visible results from the first session (reduction up to 97% of the number of wrinkles) and even more amazing results at the completion of 4 consecutive treatments. In addition to the array of treatments, Skin Deep also boasts of laser treatments including hair removal, IPL for eradicating hyperpigmentation and superficial lesions, and non-invasive treatments like Botox and the ever-popular microdermabrasion.

An enchanting spa boutique feels like an exotic bazaar where candles, fragrances, apparel, must-have Pellemelle belts and even the spa’s proprietary skin care line can be found.  Owner Debra Woods, whose original passion was make-up, started Skin Deep sixteen years ago with the intent of providing the community with a haven that provided cutting-edge treatments without sacrificing the familiar touches.  Skin Deep boasts a staff of 35 and over half have been with the spa for ten years or longer so the client loyalty is staggering with second and third generation clients.
